Have you ever gone a whole day without making a choice for yourself? Couldn’t choose what kind of food you wanted to eat for lunch? Couldn’t leave your house to go outside? At the first Restore Freedom Gala, Faith Huckel, Executive Director of Restore NYC, spoke about the ability to make “choices” for ourselves.

StreetWise Partners held its Third Annual Taste of Success event on February 23 at City Winery in Tribeca and the evening was, well, quite a success. Luckily I was able to take a quick tour of the landscape before the crowds started rolling in. Overwhelmed, I decided to start with a drink.

Despite the heavy rain, over 550 young professionals attended with over 30 restaurant and beverage sponsoring the event. It was a magical evening with great food, drinks, and music!
